Michaela Washmon is the Partnerships Director for LIONS Events, where she oversees a global commercial partnerships team for Cannes Lions and regional events from the brand. She has spent the past seven years at Cannes Lions, growing the US sponsorship arm before moving into her global role in 2024. Previously to Lions, she worked agency-side at Interpublic Group where she ran external PR, communications and tentpole even planning for HUGE.
